CLASS TEE! :DD

Hello all. (:
This post is regarding our long-awaited class teeeeee! (:
We have to decide on a design, basic colour, material, and type of our class tee.

Designs! of the class tee will be put up on the class blog shortly. Yay. :D

Colours!
If you guys want a dark shade of colour, the fonts will be white.
If you guys want a lighter shade of colour, the fonts will be black.
Some colours suggested on the tagboard are Blue Green Red Gold Purple Pink.

Material!
1) Dry Fit
2) Cotton

Type!
1) Polo
2) Non-polo

Please SMS either Ming Hui or Amanda by tomorrow evening, 7pm, the sizes of your class tee. Sizes are in XS, S, M, L, XL etc. (:

*Refer to the relay system thingy. If you are under the left side of the relay, SMS Ming Hui. If you are under the right side of the relay, SMS Amanda. :D

Also, include in the sms, which design you prefer (Design 1 or 2), what colour (& whether its dark or light shade), which material, and what type of class tee. Please do NOT sms stuff like, 'i dont know' or 'anything'. I mean, you can luh, then we'll just wont consider your vote, and you may get a class tee that you do not really fancy. So there. :D

**Outcome of the class tee will be decided by votes. Yea people, start sms-ing! (:
(okay, so now i sound like some American Idol host, getting people to call in and vote. ><)

A VERY VERY VERY COOL SITE! AWESOME~ everyone should go see...

MULTITOUCH COMPUTING........
http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/industry/4224762.html?series=37
....It allows any number of users to lay hands on the screen as if they were manipulating real objects. On the monitor, recently dubbed the Media Wall, Han uses his hands to spin a virtual globe and then zoom into the canyons of Manhattan. “A mouse is an indirect pointing device,” Han says. “You’re working with an object that’s not on the screen. Multitouch computing is direct manipulation.” Multitouch computing isn’t new—the concept has been kicking around since the 1980s, and two Breakthrough Award-winning products, Apple’s iPhone and Microsoft’s Surface

PRINTER THAT PRINTS ANYTHING~~
http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/industry/4224759.html?series=37
A printer that prints anything, 3D... cheese, choco, structures...
People report printing with everything from food (Easy Cheese, chocolate), to epoxy, to metal-powder-impregnated silicone to make conductive wires.

NEW Wii!!!!!!! - Wii FIT
http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/industry/4224767.html?series=37&page=7&?series=37
The Nintendo Wii is many things—a motion-sensing video-game console, a retail success story, possibly even a cultural touchstone. What it isn’t, despite its players’ controller-waving antics and media hype about gamers finally getting off the couch, is an exercise machine. Until now. The Wii Fit, a soon-to-be-released suite of games that uses a $70 weight- and balance-sensing Balance Board, does everything from analyzing posture to revealing how bad you actually are at yoga. It turns fitness into a game, instead of a chore.

See how a story (like Mother Teresa's Life) can be told using technical tools with images, music, graphics and voice mixed together.

Quote: Rather than write a biography, she created a digital story, and part of that was the “lesson learned” element—hers was that he paid a high price for freedom, one that we may

never have to pay. She walked in his shoes; she imitated his voice, including a kind of soft dialogue, stuttering a little bit, and used pictures and images to talk about how the freed slaves one, two, three-minute segments, and when you see the little video clapboard at the bottom that indicates that it’s an editable clip, you can download those, put them in a folder on a computer

desktop, rearrange them, and then join them together with a narration, or with

music, or a point of view.

HELLO 0820, i just cant help but remember what our beloved GP tutor told us in answer to HUIFANG's question that day.

the million-dollar-question was "i thought the school says we gotta save electricity?".

the billion-dollar-answer was "tell them to go fly kite."

WOW. and i thought..

HAHA. OH WELL!

just thought this a memorable moment in GP to blog about and for everyone to have a good laugh at it recalling how our lovely class burst into laughter at his retort to huifang's question.

HUIFANG.
